Effective Inverse Method for High-loaded Axial Compressor Based on Pre-compression Theory

The S1 stream surface inverse method for a single-stage axial transonic compressor was developed and studied under the guidance of quasi-three-dimensional viscous design theory, based on computational fluid dynamics (CFD), in order to establish solve governing equations. re--adjusted load distribution imposed obtain special profile rotor, which is known as S-shaping. This changed structure weaken strength shock due pre-compression effect. In match inlet flow angle downstream stator, modification multiple surfaces stator blade conducted present study at same time. As it known, S-shaped commonly applied supersonic flows. Therefore, NASA stage 37 selected case verify whether effective reliable. Stage re-designed by stacking five surfaces. profiles these were renewed through design. results revealed that, compared prototype, aerodynamic performance one apparently promoted within stable working range. adiabatic efficiency point increased approximately 0.4%, pressure ratio improved 4.5%. addition, analysis result characteristic line that redesigned blades off-design points significantly improved.
